📜 MAHIRA EDGE | OFFICIAL CODE OF CONDUCT

Jurisdiction: Thane, Maharashtra | Scope: All Students, Mentors, and Employees

1. STUDENT CODE OF CONDUCT (The “Anti-Toxic” Policy)

To protect the learning environment and prevent Intellectual Property theft.

  • Zero Tolerance for Harassment: Any form of verbal, written, or digital harassment toward Mahira Edge staff or fellow students is strictly prohibited. This includes “Spamming,” “Bullying,” or “Defamatory Remarks” in WhatsApp/Slack groups.

  • Prohibition of “Poaching”: Students shall not use Mahira Edge platforms to solicit, recruit, or “poach” other students for competing coaching centers or third-party programs. This is a breach of Contractual Trust.

  • Anti-Piracy Compliance: Sharing of SAP/AWS credentials, recording live sessions without permission, or “Screen-sharing” proprietary Data Science modules with non-members is a Criminal Offense.

  • Decorum in Live Sessions: Students must maintain professional etiquette. Disruptive behavior during live sessions may lead to immediate “Digital Suspension” without a refund.

  • Penal Action: Violation of this code grants Mahira Edge the unilateral right to terminate access. In cases of IP theft, we will pursue Criminal Conspiracy charges in Thane.

2. STAFF & MENTOR CODE OF CONDUCT (The “Brand Shield”)

To protect Mahira Edge from “Internal Leakage” and ensure high teaching standards.

  • Confidentiality & Non-Compete: Mentors and Staff are prohibited from using Mahira Edge student data or curriculum to start competing services or provide private tuitions. This is a violation of Trade Secret Protection.

  • Professional Neutrality: Mentors must provide unbiased, high-quality training. No staff member shall promise “Guaranteed Jobs” unless officially authorized in writing by the Mahira Edge management.

  • POSH Compliance (Prevention of Sexual Harassment): Mahira Edge maintains a strict Zero-Tolerance POSH Policy. Any staff member found violating the dignity of a student or colleague will face immediate termination and legal reporting to the Thane Police.

  • Digital Footprint: Staff shall not post disparaging remarks about the institute, its students, or its partners on LinkedIn, Glassdoor, or other social media. Any grievance must be settled via the internal HR mechanism in Thane.

  • Data Fiduciary Duty: Staff handling student data (for SAP/Cloud labs) must comply with the DPDP Act 2023 and are personally liable for any intentional data leaks.

3. DISCIPLINARY MECHANISM (Legal Safeguard)

In line with the principles of Natural Justice, Mahira Edge follows a “Two-Step” disciplinary process:

  1. Show-Cause Notice: The offender will be issued a digital notice to explain their actions within 48 hours.
  2. Final Determination: The Management of Mahira Edge (Thane) shall have the final authority. If the breach is “Material” (like stealing data or harassment), the 7-day cure period does not apply, and termination is immediate.
